Just a Closer Walk
Is my plea

There is an old hymn that would apply for those of us that want to walk a path of righteousness, we would do well to follow. The chorus goes like this, 'Just a closer walk with you grant it,Yahshua is my plea, daily walking close to you, let it be blessed Savior let it be'. (Arr. Albert E. Brumley)

We should always be seeking a closer walk with Yahshua, our Creator and sustainer, the one through whom we can go before our Father, having been made clean by His sacrifice.
We do it by walking in faith, belief, putting our trust in Yahshua.

Lets look at what that closer walk is.

Phil. 3:9
Be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, but that which is through faith (belief) in Messiah, the righteousness which is from Elohim on the base of faith (belief).

2 Tim. 3:15
This is Shaul/Paul writing to Timothy; From youth you have known the Scriptures which are able to make you wise for deliverance through faith (belief) in Messiah Yahshua.

2 Cor.. 13:11
For the rest, rejoice, become perfect, be encouraged, be of one mind, live in peace, and the El of love and peace will be with you.

Romans 15:13
The Elohim of hope (expectation) fill each with all joy and peace in faith (belief), that you overflow with confidence by the power of the Spirit that separates us.

Phil 4:9
What we have received and heard and learned, practice these, and the Elohim of peace shall be with us.

We must rejoice in Yahshua, become more like Him, have His mind in us through His Spirit, live in peace. Phil. 2:2 and 2:5

If we look to our Mighty Ones, for our help, comfort, encouragement, for our daily needs, they will supply that need.

Yahh and Yahshua have promised they will be with us through their Spirit and then with the " Word" in us we can walk as Yahshua walked, 1 John 2:5-6, in truth and uprightness.

Walking contrary to the Father

In our walk there are many ways that are contrary to the way of faith and belief. (confidence)

Choosing our friends form among those that do not believe. 2 Cor.. 6:14
We should not be a part of the world and its customs and traditions. 2 Cor.. 6:17
We should not be selfish. 2 Cor.. 9: 6-8
We are not to be self-righteous. Romans 10:3 Phil. 2:5 and 3:9
We are not to judge others. Romans 14:13
We are not to cause a brother or sister to stumble. Romans 14:13
These are some of the ways not to walk, we could find many more.

Which way are we walking?
Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Messiah who strengthen me.
