Yahshua said, " No man having put his hand to the plow, and looking back is fit for the Kingdom of Elohim. Luke 9:62

Some of us were at one time a part of what is commonly called "christianity". As a part of these religions we had many beliefs that were contrary to true belief. Even before this we were walking in the way of the flesh, following its urges. This is the broad way that leads to death. 1 John 3:4 "Who ever commits sin, transgresses also the law; for sin is the transgression (breaking) of the law".

I had a dream that began when I was about eight and was still having it in my late twenties. In that dream I would see an odd shaped ball bouncing from one place to another, never going straight, and you never knew where it would go next. This is the way my life was until I was about thirty two years old, my life had no purpose nor goal. All this changed when I began to be called and heeded that call.

"Elohim who at different times and in different manners spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made all. Who having the same brightness, and is the express image of His being, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high". Hebrews 1:1-3

Potter and the clay Romans 9:20-21 "But who are you O man, to talk back to Elohim? Shall that which was formed say to Him who formed it, " Why have you made me like this?" Does not the potter have authority over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dis-honor. Yahshua as the very Creator has the authority from His Father to do as He wills with His creation as long as it reaches the result that was planned from the beginning.

From the beginning there was planned a way for man to become children of our Father. 2 Peter 3:9 " Yahh is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." 2 Timothy 2:25 "in meekness instructing those who are in opposition, lest somehow Elohim gives them repentance unto a thorough knowledge of the truth. John 1:17 "for the law was given through Moshe, the favor and the truth came through Yahshua Messiah."

It is through the Spirit that we can have understanding. It is through the Spirit that we learn. 1 John 2:27. What Spirit is this? Galatians 4:6 "Because we are children, Elohim (our Father) has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying " Abba, Father. (Poppa Father) As we start on the road that leads us to the Kingdom we can expect the adversary, the Devil, to try to side track us in some way to keep us from the full knowledge of the truth.

Matthew 7:13-14 " Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide and the way is broad, that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it. Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard which leads to life, and there are few that find it." We all walked in that broad way before we were called. If we have been called then we can be sure that the adversary will be constantly seeking a way to cause us to get off of that way that leads to life. He will seek to turn us away some how. Maybe cause us to believe that we are "good enough" that we need do learn nothing more, nor to change nothing in our belief. Many have followed a "man" in their quest for salvation. The only "man" we should follow is our Savior Yahshua Messiah. We each need to search the Scriptures daily to see if we are walking the way that leads to life everlasting. Many things learned in our previous belief need to be re-evaluated, to see whether they are "truth" or error. As gold is refined so should our life be before our Creator and our Savior. As gold ore is heated the impurities come to the top and are taken off. The more it is heated the more impurities came be taken off until the gold in pure. We must become "pure" as He is "pure".

We must be as the Bereaens Acts 17:11. What Scriptures were they searching, what we call the Old Testament, this was the only thing available to them. Romans 15:4 "for whatever was written before was written for our instruction, that through endurance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have the expectation (hope)." But just as Yahshua fulfilled all that was written about Him when He came, He also finished the way of salvation. He died on the stake in our stead. He had finished the work His Father had given Him. A major part of that work was teaching about the coming of His Kingdom. This had been promised from the beginning but was only now revealed and completed. Yahshua came to do the express will and purpose of His Father. John 3:34 " My food is to do the desire of Him who sent Me, and to accomplish His work. Hebrews 10:9 "See I come to do your desire O Elohim" He takes away the first to establish the second. Psalm 15:2 Who stays in the presence of Yahh, "He who walks blamelessly, and does righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart" We are told to seek the way of truth and righteousness. Each day in our life brings us closer to the end of it, and closer to the day of Yahshua's return. What was "right" for yesterday may not be what we need for today. We cannot go on into perfection by hanging on to the past.

About there years ago I had another dream. In this one we were told to get in an old car and it would take us where we were to be and had every thing in it that we would need. When we got to the destination and had every thing arranged for the Sabbath and set down to think about the advents of the day, we saw the car and the hi-way used to get us to the destination were no longer there. They were not needed any more for what we were to do. This is the same with many other things in our past. These need to be discarded.

Again the adversary, Satan will try us to get us off the narrow way. He will put things in our path that will cause us to stumble. But we have the assurance that Yahshua is there to pick us up and carry us over the rough places if we will but come and ask.

Philippians 3:8-14 Here Paul is writing to the Philippians, but it is even more to us today. " What is more, we even count all to be loss because of the excellence of the knowledge of Messiah Yahshua my Master, for whom we will suffer the loss of all, and count them as refuse in order to gain Messiah. To be found in Him, not having my (our) own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through belief in Messiah, the righteousness which is from Elohim and is based on belief. To know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death. If some how we might attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that we have already received, or already perfected but we press on, to lay hold of that for which Messiah Yahshua has completed. So we do not count ourselves to have laid hold of it yet, but only this, FORGETTING what is BEHIND and REACHING out for what lies AHEAD, we press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of Elohim in Messiah Yahshua.

It is truly beyond our comprehension what lies ahead for those that are willing to forget what is behind and reach out for what is ahead. This is our most important purpose and goal. We must be doing the will of our Father and our Elder Brother Yahshua, He should be our "roll model". It is through Him we have forgiveness and then life ever lasting in His Kingdom.
